"Cahel Pech is a great affordable option in San Ignacio. The pool setup is a fun amenity and meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel was happy to set us up with tours and local drivers too. On a Saturday night, the local town partied loudly until 3am but I can't really fault the hotel for that. The room could be improved with a new mattress and pillows. The view of the town is super nice and there's even a local bunny that is super friendly! Staff is top notch."

"Great property (seemingly) as we stayed for a night. Main issue: we came in at 12:30 to check-in (2pm reservation) - the property was empty (1 guest) but they refused to get us rooms till 2pm. We were hoping to freshen up before we headed to the next spot - we ended up going to the next spot & returning at 10pm & check-out at 6am. In short we’re not sure what the property has to offer but disappointed with the check-in capability with an empty resort. "

"The direct surroundings are not very astonishing, but the Hotel itself and the rooms are squeaky clean, the beds comfortable and the terrace invites to stay for a coffee (from the coffee shop right below the hotel) or for a beer, which one can buy in the small bar onsite. Furthermore the small "boulevard" with lots of restaurants, bars and shops is nearby. We were received very friendly and provided several recommendations what to do/where to go during our stay. "Our stay was great, the place is very tranquil and well maintained, although some of the advertised amenities are not available. The hiking trails and the complimentary kayaks are not there so this information should be removed from the property description as misleading."

"Our stay was really lovely. Rose and the other ladies made us delicious breakfast and dinner - the best that we had in Belize. The property was comfortable and conveniently located. It felt very safe. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."
