"The staff were excellent. Bed was extremely comfortable. One issue, our room was not "refreshed" (new towels trash emptied)when requested. Alisa took care of it personally. She was great. Lobby bar music was a too loud to have a beer, relax with friends. When requested, night staff turned it down to a reasonable level."

"Space is at a premium in downtown Edinburgh. The Ibis has managed to make the tight space in the rooms efficient, clean and comfortable. The mattress was very comfortable which I appreciated after hiking around the city. The hotel is in an excellent location to walk to many museums, theatres and tourist sites."

"チェックイン時に最初にアサインされた部屋は102号室。行ってみたら半地下で外の景色が全然見えない部屋だった。早くから予約し、日本では払った事がない5万円強もしたのにガッカリした。即座にフロントに戻って慣れない英語で部屋のチェンジを要求、最初は空きの部屋がないとの回答だったが更に交渉後にやっと4階の眺望の良い部屋に交換してくれた。最初に対応した女性スタッフが頑固な人で男性スタッフに交代後に部屋の変更が実現。その後は快適。駅から も近いし、カルトンヒルにも近く、チェックアウト後も荷物を無料で預かってくれたので総合評価は星4つとする。"

"The room was clean (aside from some strange marks on the carpet) and had everything you’d need for one night. The breakfast was amazing, especially considering it’s included in the price! The bathrooms were very small and not the cleanest and there were no fans or AC which wasn’t ideal given the heatwave. On the whole I’d recommend but not for any longer than 1/2 nights."

"This is definitely an older hotel. Our room was large and the bathroom was well equipped with a shower bathtub that was huge.
What sets this hotel apart is the great location. Walking distance to everything, including the royal mile, the train station and lovely park.
I wish they had an ice machine so we didn't have to bug the bartender.
Breakfast had real eggs to order. Yeah!!"

"Beautiful newly renovated hotel in excellent location between train station and Castle. Staff were wonderful.. The interior design was amazing a mix of modern European with Scottish accents!
