"A very pleasant stay. Breakfast and evening meals were particularly good. The evening meals can easily compete with any good restaurant on the island. A gem. The hotel is remote. There is a 2-mile narrow road with potholes to navigate to get to the property. Consequently, I left in the morning and returned late afternoon, spending the day on other activities. The hotel has a retreat-like quality. The sunroom is a wonderful space for rest and contemplation, or reading and games and conversation....

"There are a few on street parking areas right in front that are available to use between 6pm - 8/9:00 am. The rooms are above a bar but it closed down around 11:00. Any room on the third floor is the quietest, but very hot and there are no fans. While the window opens, it took forever to cool down and never really got below 72 to sleep. We stayed in late June. There was no air conditioning.

"The hotel is in a beautiful location, near mountain views, a quaint bridge and river. The hotel has a restaurant attached with amazing food. Breakfast was well worth it. The room itself was newly updated. It had a fan, radiator, heated towel racks, and a very comfortable bed. They had cute snacks, water, and hot cocoa in the room!"

"Atholl house was one of our most favorite stays during our 14 day adventure. From check in to check out we felt so at home and cared for. "We did two nights at Minnie’s. We wish it could have been longer. Maryanne was so gracious. The room was very nice and offered all needed amenities. The. Breakfast was wonderful. The house sits on the water in Dunvengan. The castle is a five minute drive. Portree half hour. Easy drive to old man of storr and many more sites. Highly recommend Minnie’s rooms"
