"Strong points are: beautiful views; spacious room; quiet; clean, staff cheerful and eager to please.
Weak points were: shower/tub requires a mat or something to avoid slipping on the floor of the bathtub; owner will surely get sued if not fixed. Secondly, the TV requires 2 remotes; instructions given were totally inadequate. Matthew and I worked together to produce a clear simple instruction sheet which he says he will distribute to the other rooms."

"While the room itself was clean, there were several issues that make this a bad stay. Both of the sheets were clean, but had some orange and red stains. The towels provided were tattered and had significant holes in them. The gap between the outside door and the floorboard was quite large, with nothing stopping bugs/mice from coming inside. "Staff was great. My 3 star rating is only because there were no sign ups left when arriving for the 3PM check-in. Without this, for the sauna or infrared room; it leaves you to be "stealing time" where you can..(also feels a bit absurd for the rate you pay.) "What a delight to stay at the Arts Inn. The space was charming, the room was very comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and helpful as we planned a couple of days exploring their region of the Catskills. We especially appreciated the lovely breakfast -- 'continental' in that it wasn't cooked to order, but nonetheless ample and full of local delights including cheese, boiled eggs, bread, preserves, and fresh-baked muffins. Loved the whole experience!"
