Killantrae Burn. View from the High Street bridge, just to the right of 1760964 . Killantrae was the original name of the village, before it was redeveloped as Port William in the late 18th century http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_William,_Scotland . The left bank is overgrown with Japanese knotweed (Fallopia japonica), an invasive introduction from eastern Asia which is difficult to eradicate.
