"The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel is simply the best, why stay anywhere else? Staff are friendly and attentive and nothing is overlooked by them. One day I was reading a book, next day I found a lovely Taj bookmark left beside the book. Fruit in your room, all essentials restocked everyday, all my cosmetics beautifully arranged and everything neatly tidied away. Food and drink service is exceptional in bar and restaurants - The Golden Dragon restaurant is particularly memorable. A window seat for breakfast so that I could look out at The Gateway of India and the Bay. Nothing is too much for The Taj staff. Outstanding service, warmth and hospitality. The building itself is beautiful, historic and fascinating too."
