"The hotel is absolutely beautiful & well maintained in every detail. Kudos to the gardening staff for the magnificent surroundings bathed in the scent of jasmine. Spa experience (massage & facial) was excellent. My lake view superior room was lovely, clean.
I’d think twice before staying here again for 1 reason: the sub-standard food. We dined at Il Borromeo 3 times & none of our dishes were hot nor prepared as ordered. They came out of the kitchen too quickly after ordering so we gathered they...

"Pros- very helpful staff, excellent location, clean rooms. Elena on reception staff was excellent at helping with transport and advising on local points of interest, concierge Arriana was excellent at giving tips on local points of interest.
Cons- no milk given in the rooms, kettle would be better than nespresso machine for tea drinkers.
Overall a very pleasant stay with only minor recommendations. Staff cannot be faulted- they were amazing."

"Very old hotel, was nice maybe in the 80´s .
Rooms are crawling with ants, overall bot well cleaned. Breakfast was as good as a two stars hotel.
The only good thing is the view.
Overall super disappointing"

"From seamless room upgrade to delicious restaurant food, service and lake view, to arranging complimentary transfer to the enchanting Villa d’Este sister property to enjoy gelato in a beautiful lakefront setting, to arranging personal appointments, the staff and property far exceeded my expectations. Definitely recommended for travellers enjoying superior quality and service! Perfect lakefront Piazza Cavour location making it easy and convenient to walk around the Old Town!"
