"Friendly greeting. Lovely room, spotlessly clean. Plenty of lifts to get to floors. Bar staff chatty and approachable great choice of drinks and food . Fast with both. Free parking (what a bonus) bus stops just around the corner although taxis were quicker to get into Edinburgh town. Would highly recommend and use again. Loved Scotland!!!"

"A new hotel,easy access to the tram service to the airport and Edinburgh. Rooms were very good.Restaurant was clean with an excellent breakfast (20 pounds) a bit on the expensive side.Evening menu had a good choice and the food was excellent. The only down side was the privately owned car park,which costs 12 pounds per day.The QR code didnt accept my Barclays bank credit card so we had to pay at the hotel reception. You have a 30 minute grace period and then you will get a 100 pound fine if you...

"I was a solo traveler visiting Edinburgh for the first time- I had originally booked a hotel on Victoria street but switched to the Horton for a more price convienent option. I’m very happy I did- I was only about a 10 minute walk from Victoria street and it was nice to not wake up right in the middle of all the tourists. Close to public transport to get into the centre which is approximately a 20-25 minute walk. Extra convenience was being able to checkout and leave our luggage for a few hours. Thank you "
