It is run fby Family , and it truly shows and how they take care of their guest. There are knowledgeable and accommodating when offering suggestions and activities in the area. Our family of four stayed in one room. It had proper accommodations for all of us. Breakfast was made every morning and it was delicious. Highly recommend going to the area to stay this hotel "

" Difficult to find in the dark but there is gate with name on it and they’ll open it for you to enter . Parking at mini-house. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen. Deck with sun bathing area. Jet tub. Patio. Good wifi. Fans. Big zapper. Lots of bugs. Water was not always hot but warm. Great onsite hike with amazing views! Would come back!"

"We loved Hotel Tropico! The individual cottages were cute and comfortable with amazing views. The on site restaurant was good and we were able to reserve breakfast, which was very convenient. Hotel Tropico is close to everything and all of the staff that we encountered were very friendly. I would recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"What an awesome stay! Lovely family owed hotel/ farm. Everything is done with such care and really the people were so lovely. My kids loved this stay above all others in Costa Rica because they would roll out of bed and go to be with “their” animals. Two horses, a donkey (that is truly the sweetest boy who thinks he is a puppy), sheep, a cow, a peacock, chickens, etc. It’s out of the main city so you get the feeling of being in the country, while being close by the noise if you want it. "Property is good for 1 or 2 days break. The staff is excellent, but internet was poor and needs to be have something done. We could jot get any signals and the internet was poor, we could joy plan anything while in the hotel."

"We absolutely loved out stay at Senda Monteverde. The grounds are gorgeous and have access to a beautiful hiking trail just out the back. They have a new pool and hot tubs that made our experience even more relaxing. Their restaurant is delicious. We ended up eating there for multiple meals and were happy with our choices every time.
