"Had a one night stay here and was highly impressed. The hotel is very close to, and part of the same group that owns, The Celtic Manor Resort. The hotel is only a couple of years old and in excellent condition. Location wise, it’s just a minute or so drive from the M4 junction at Newport. Overnight parking is charged but not excessive. Great staff. Fabulous room & bathroom. Good breakfast. Loved the place and would definitely return."

"Beautiful hotel and grounds. The buffet breakfast was excellent - one of the best I have had. The spa is very relaxing and spacious. Take note: you have to book your slot in the pool / jacuzzi, so plan ahead if you can."

"Room bit tired looking, could do with a paint freshener. But clean, staff very friendly and helpful, especially as we has next room going at it arguing for quite a while. Staff dealt with it professionally."

"I would not stay again, our double bedroom had very tired decor, peeling paint, lots of dust and cobwebs, and overlooked a flat roof/ fire escape. Seems like the room had been slapped with lots of green paint in attempts to modernise it. Not sure how the accommodation can be described as luxury. If we had been staying for more then one night I would have left early. The parking is very limited, but that is stated when booking. Staff at reception were friendly when booking in."
