"Too many high hidden fees for coming across as a Hotel. The director was very kind and polite. The 2 bedrooms villa was poorly designed. We learnt that the resort has been recently taken over by another owner. With did not have an unpleasant stay but I cannot accept fees that sum up to the cost of an extra night."

"Sadly, this place has great potential but it is a poor experience based on horrible customer service and poor amenities. It started with the front staff requiring higher extra fees than what was stated in the ad, blaming Hotels.com for having wrong information. My family then had to wait outside the reception for 45 minutes - no, they were not even allowed in to our room nor to use the pool - while I had to drive to an ATM to get cash to pay the fees. Who said customer experience is important?...

"I did the reservation the same day that i would stay in that place. I arrived there and didnt had the acess code, so I tried do call and send messagem from the whatsapp and didnt had any awnser. I waited in the door of the propertie for more than 1 hour and didnt had any response from the owner. So I went to another hotel, and even then I didn had any response form the property owner. I request the refound of the payment!!!"

"Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura una settimana a fine agosto 2023 mio marito, io e nostra figlia di 2 anni. "We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. We don’t usually choose half board but we are glad we did! The first night there was a buffet in the garden, of local food, this was the best buffet I have ever had, everything was so fresh and tasty and there was lots of vegetarian choice. We ate off the a la carte menu our other 2 nights, which again was amazing food, with lots of choice, as was breakfast. The pool area is lovely and the hotel is only a 10 minute drive to the lovely town of Otranto. We had a standard room, the only criticism is the bathroom could do with a bit of an update, the shower wasn’t great with poor pressure if you had it on warm. There was live music and dancing one night and we enjoyed the tour of the underground Oil Mill and Olive Oil Tasting which was provided by the hotel. "

Grand Hotel di Lecce

" This is not a Grand hotel in the sense of the Danieli or Excelsior, however, that is probably because they choose not to have a restaurant, even though they put out a sumptuous breakfast and have a commercial kitchen and plenty of staff. Our room had filthy old green carpeting, but we noticed in the long hallway that some rooms have modern wood flooring, which is much more sanitary I don't know why we weren't given the upgrade since we are hotel gold members. The only other issue was the parking which we tried to reserve well in advance, but was unavailable, which was disappointing since we have a brand new Mercedes-Benz . The staff was very pleasant and the bathroom was spacious and had the best shower of our trip. Overall, it was good value for the money and it's probably one of the better hotels in Lecce."
