"The staff at Airport View Hotel were very friendly and eager to assist with any of your needs. There are a few amenities listed on the website, but they do not have them. For example, on the website it states they have laundry facilities and laundry services. The laundry facility is listed twice and the laundry services is listed once. I thought the property actually had washer and dryers available to the customers so they could do laundry. This was one of the reasons I booked with Airport View Hotel. I was very disappointed when I found out they only offered laundry services and didn't have the laundry facilities as stated on the website. The website also stated they have two pools (one inside and one outside). I only found one pool which was inside but had open air sections with part of the roof and outside wall construction of the building. I asked where the other pool was and the staff said there was only one pool. The hotel uses air fresher diffusers which the scent is used throughout the entire hotel, hotel rooms, and in their cleaners. I had a hard time with the scent because I was getting over a bad cold. The scent was making me cough even more that I was thinking about switching hotels. My first room was nice, but the shower drain was clogged. They switched my room (#2 room) which seemed claustrophobic. They eventually moved me to a different room (#3) which was a bigger room. It appeared some walls and shower ceiling have/had mold/mildew they're trying to remediate."

"A beautiful hotel, with a decent array of restaurants. Another pool is needed as there are a lot of non residents who decide to venture in for the day. Breakfast in the executive lounge is not worth the money as the spread pales in comparison to the offerings in the main restaurant"

"I enjoyed my stay here. The staff are exceptionaly friendly and helpfull - they go above and beyond expectations.The hotel is set in extensive grounds with lots of palm trees with a large pool to swim or relax by. The least epensive rooms are clustered in round chalet ype buildings set in pleasnt grounds. The more expensive rooms are in wings of the hotel near the pool. The breakfast is excellent by Ghanaian standards with a good selection including cook to order eggs and pnacakes - but it is expensive if not included. There is an extensive daytime and evening menu available with Ghanaiain and European food which is pretty reasonable quality but portions are too large for most people to finish. The gounds of the hotel extend to the endge of the sea but there is no direct access to the beach - its fenced off for security. To visit the beach you have to walk out of the front and along the main LA rd a short way - but reallt the hotel pool is much nice than the beach."

"The location close to the Accra shopping mall was great, it enabled me to buy internet access and other essentials that I needed for the start of my trip.The room was clean and well presented and the staff were very helpful. As a solo traveller, I selected the hotel principally because of the airport pickup and location, I was not disappointed by either. Also the notel internet was reliable."
