"For the most part, our stay was fine, but, bless me, the shower temperature was a hot mess! Every 4 seconds (I counted!), the water temp cycled from dangerously scalding to downright cold. Every. Four. Seconds. And it wasn’t some random issue in our room. We spoke with another guest and they said they experienced the same thing. It was almost rage-inducing.
The one other issue we had was that, although there ended up being several inches of snow covering a sheet of ice on the sidewalks, the sidewalks were neither shoveled nor salted. At least out the back entrance.
Those two issues notwithstanding, Candlewood was fine. It was quiet, common spaces and our room were clean, they allow pets, and there is a Walmart (and other stores) about a 5 minute walk from the lobby.
But would we stay again? Probably not, simply because of the shower. If we knew the shower issue was fixed, then yes. But otherwise, no. "
