"Overall, my experience was disappointing. The hotel had a noticeable odor in hallways and elevators, the staff was not welcoming, and housekeeping did not fully clean the room beyond making the bed. I would never book again."

"If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to the Baylor Medical Center, then this is the place. If you are looking for a place that is 5 star, this is not the place. Rooms were clean, but had to ask for more towels and room did not get cleaned til day 3. Hallway carpets were filthy. Breakfast was good."

"Clean room, safe and secure inside, could benefit from an in room safe. Mostly quiet. I liked the water in the reception area. Adequate for the price point. I wasn’t used to the socio-economic conditions in downtown Dallas. It did feel edgy walking around in the area of the hotel. I understood the authorities are working hard to improve safety in downtown, significant police and security evident and very friendly and supportive of tourists."

"Parking is done by a 3rd party company for both properties and is valet only. Valet crew was great helped out in the tight area that isvthe front of the hotel. Breakfast was the usual fare eggs toast waffles cereals and such. Did have bacon and that was a plus also didnt have to pay extra for it so that was a nice surprise. "

"We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the Joule. The room was nice and spacious. It was located near many restaurants that were in walking distance. We had an issue with parking. We had to circle the hotel several times for valet parking. We were considering parking in one of the parking garages but we didn’t know which garage was for the hotel. Would we stay here again? Yes but we would park in one of the parking garages instead."

"The hotel was under renovation and we didn’t know when we booked it. The hotel and room were clean. Staff were excellent. I hate complaining about food, but for what we paid for breakfast I have to say it was disappointing. The potatoes were cold and hard. Not much to choose from either. Parking is $55 per night to valet. Another factor that wasn’t mentioned prior to booking "

"The rooms were big and very comfortable. Just don't pay extra for cafe breakfast during week. It was a choice of coffee, breakfast sandwich or pastry. The product wasn't even up to Starbucks level and I expect more from a Renaissance Hotel. When I saw what they offered, I asked to be reimbursed and they said no. She did tell me the GM would reach out to me and he has not. It's only 35.00 but all the same they can do better."

"Staff was very nice, very helpful and courteous. Restaurant was excellent; The $19 burger was outstanding! Well worth the price. Banquet services for convention dinner was good, as convention banquet dinners go, and again the help and service was kind and polite. I enjoyed mu stay."

"This hotel is a convenient place to stay. I love that it edges DT and the neighboring area the suite has every thing in it. There is a connivence store like next door. The farmers market a stone throw away with variety of food options.I’ll stay here again in the future."

"We pulled into the parking lot that was too small for a vehicle to get down the alley. People in the parking lot were doing profound things and we were so nervous we never even got out of the car! The pictures are deceiving and I would never stay here! We never even got out of our vehicle and immediately left, resulting in a fee to stay when we did not! We found a very nice motel up the street! The owner doesn’t respond or even message you back! No communication whatsoever! I would NEVER...
