Sarkies Bar in Yangon at the Strand Hotel. This hotel has been open since 1901. We went there and Had a delicious high tea with champagne followed by a cheese and bread platter. We enjoyed it so much we finished off with a couple of $7 cocktails.

Suggest to get the higher priced room. Clean room, water pressure is a bit low, may be to reserve water. You don't have to go around town to taste Burmese daily breakfast. A very good one is included in your stay. No swimming pool or spa at the hotel, but a good standard sauna.

Pillow is too old yellow color if without the pillow cases, bed sheets cover and bath towel too old ( not clean ) yellow spot red spot , support to be white clean towel but not so dirty . I do request to staff two times to come to give same as what I had . During my stay total 9 - day Same thing ...
