We basically had the most beautiful 2-bedroom house to ourselves and the cost was unbelievably cheap. "The Langvatan Guesthouse was the nicest stay so far during our past 8 days in Iceland. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The common dining area was very cozy and warm. The washrooms were spacious and clean. The rooms were simple and small, but that's all you really need at night. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! So many options to choose from. "It was like staying at your grandmother‘s house and was just as welcoming. It appears to be an old single-family home that they’ve converted into private rooms. I believe I stayed and what it was once their front parlor complete with a spinet piano. Overall, it was a lovely quiet stay."

"The only thing negative is the listing showed “Laundry”. That usually means a laundry room that one can do there own laundry. This was you call and the family comes to get it for a fee. It’s lovely in the open country and easy to get to. "
