"had to pay for breakfast which was bread and cereal only. room and shared bathroom clean. doors slammed in hallway which made it loud. nice location close to main part of city."

"This is a nice guesthouse with separate duplexes. The rooms are small and the sink in the bathroom is the smallest sink I have ever seen. Good water pressure and hot water. The room is heated by an electric heater and it was pretty hot. It’s fine for one night. Parking is easy. Staff were pleasant. Dinner was good but pretty expensive."

"Wonderful location, almost next to the big hilltop church. My clean and basic room had a view of that and the lovely sculpture garden across the street. Staff kind and helpful. Nice breakfast with good coffee. Small kitchens here and there for fixing meals."

"Excellent stay, friendly staff, clean rooms. Stayed at many Guesthouses during our travels in Iceland this was by far the best!!! Was a little nervous about the shared bathroom but it was not an issue and they were clean!! Thanks for taking great care of us, The site also has laundry service!"

"This place was ok for a one-night stay, but felt pretty cheap for a hotel that actually wasn’t that cheap. We got a room with a private bathroom and ate at their restaurant area since they have no shared kitchen space. The food wasn't good at all, but the staff was extremely friendly and let many people order food even though the kitchen was supposed to close. We decided not to stick around for breakfast since the dinner food was so mediocre, so I couldn’t comment on if it's worth the extra...

"The property was misrepresented. We thought the hotel was connected. The staff was very responsive and helpful. However, The heater in the room did not work. They replaced it with one that didn’t work. We loved the location, just wasn’t what we expected."
