"Great location!! It’s about 5minute walk from the main shopping area (Laugavegur). There’s no staff on site for check in but a clear detailed instruction was provided. It was easy, The common areas such as the lobby and kitchen were minimalist and modern design. No airconditioning as it’s common in Europe. "The property is considered nice especially for the price. However the manager who answered the door was not pleasant. He did not smile and plus he was not available after took me in. The place is quiet and easy parking though."

"The location is good, but the listing did not clearly mention that this unit is a room in the basement with a shared common area and shared bathroom (there seem to be other options in the guesthouse that are not in the basement). The bathroom door also made a loud squeaky noise, which was not ideal for a shared unit, and the bedsheets seemed a bit worn or not fully clean. That said, the staff communication was friendly, and we appreciate them hosting us."
