"This hotel is a comfortable oasis in the wonderful village of Gaucin. It has a long history of accommodating guests and under these new owners has been upgraded to include good wifi and a wonderful restaurant on the main level. The room was beautifully decorated and looked out over the mountain range and towards the rest of Gaucin. "We stayed at this hotel due to the proximity of Gibraltar and it being better value than staying in Gib itself. It was a 10-min walk to the border. It was 5-min walk to the centre of La Línea with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Room was a good size and breakfast choice was good. The beach is also close by. The hotel has a pool but we didn’t use it as we were out sightseeing each day. "
