"I've travelled a lot over the last 4 decades and Kona Palace has the best view of any property I've stayed in. It is cozy and secluded and it was amazing just to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up from the side of a mountain! The surrounding foliage is beautiful and the accomodations are comfortable. "Lot of positives. Spacious rooms like a full size 1bed 2 ba condo. Amazing views from the balcony. Full size kitchen , dishwasher and W/D. Quiet and clean property. On the older side but well maintained. Staff was very nice and hospitable. Had a late check-in and the guard was available to help as front desk was closed. Some minor recommendations : better quality soap.fix the sliding doors as they dont slide very well. "

"The view was amazing and the condo had a large lanai with comfortable furniture to enjoy it. Everything was clean, and well stocked, including the kitchen for cooking meals. The building itself is a bit dated, but the condo was comfortable and the bedding, towels, etc. all felt fairly new. There was no AC, but the fans helped keep the temperature comfortable. "
