"The room was clean, but the towels were pretty dirty, so I recommend bringing your own. The doors in the bathroom won't lock, and the washing machine's sliding door is broken. The parking was complicated; you have to go down 4 levels in the parking and open a garage gate. and after walking to the elevator with all your stuff. The staff was really nice. Answered under 15-30 min; if you have their number, they will answer quicker. The location was not bad, close to most of the things, but you should know that you're not in the best "area"; there are a lot of homeless people around the building. Other than that, it was a great choice because it offers more than 3 beds or 2 bedrooms depending on what you guys are looking for.
Thank you
Terry"
"My stay here was great! It was my first trip to Toronto so I wanted to ensure I got my full experience and sometimes that was me rushing out my room before having time to fix my bed, etc. However, Ruba was amazing, I always came back to new towels, a nicely made bed and complimentary water. Thank you Ruba! :)"
"Great for solo travelers! Clean room with nice amenities. Would recommend for anyone traveling to Toronto. Central location. 5 min walk to a huge mall and other attractions. 10/10 would stay again!"
"We recently chose to stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Toronto Downtown, and we were extremely pleased with our experience. This hotel is an excellent option for anyone planning to explore the downtown area. The location is outstanding — within walking distance of major attractions such as the Eaton Centre, Queen’s Park, Old and New City Hall, Sankofa Square, the Distillery District, the CN Tower, the Financial District, and Harbourfront.
Our room was clean, spacious, and noticeably larger than many other hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. The breakfast buffet was fresh, well prepared, and offered a great variety. We received exceptional service from Rahman in the buffet area — truly appreciated.
The staff at this hotel is phenomenal. Not just the front desk — every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved all the amenities, and the warm cookie at check‑in was a thoughtful touch that made us feel instantly at home.
Thank you for your outstanding hospitality. We look forward to returning!"
