"Room was fine, mattress was a bit too soft but room was clean. The biggest drawback was the wifi was really, really, really poor. Location was very convenient, within walking distance of the ferry dock and the local restaurants and shops."

"The room was clean but the furniture was outdated, oversized and crowded. The outside of the building was ran down and in desperate need of cleaning. The beach was sad and littered with trash. The location was good and breakfast was better than most with eggs, pancakes and ham."

"The bathroom light was falling from the ceiling. The floorboards around the bathroom needed painting the room was cobwebs in the ceiling sand on the floor couldn’t you go without shoes? Phone did not work no directions for the TV overall a very poor room."

"My grandson went into the restroom in the pool area. The owner/maintenance guy finally came and was rude and blamed my grandson. After 4( minutes they finally drilled out the lock and got him out. He is ten years old and was terrified. If that is how they handle situations I am glad it wasn’t more serious and I don’t need to stay there. On the other end the lady working the desk at check in and check out was very nice."

"Don’t in early spring bug hatch is terrible!! And they won’t refund you ! Only good thing was bed was fairly comfortable!! Furniture old and delapidated, toilet took a very long time to refill. Balcony was too scary to step out on! Even if there were no Mitch flies!! Parking was a problem ! Not enough spaces! Place has definitely out lasted its time! Don’t waste your money!!"

"Great location for walking right across the street to Armstrong ferry. They are dog friendly. We had a small dog and paid a $25 dog fee. Our room needed some love but was just fine for sleeping. We may have been given a dog friendly room so it may have been not as well kept as others. The lamp cord looked chewed on and some of the headboard lighting didn’t work. Would stay again for a stopover but nothing more."

"You couldn't have asked forever. Anyone to be kinder. Everyone was wonderful. We were really amazed that the space was so big. And we loved our view of the beach."

"Bugs every where, pile of bugs in bathroom, bed and outside. Staff doesn’t want to clean them up or change the room. We checked out 1 day prior to original booking because we can’t even sleep."

"1st...just trying to get the door opened..they give you the code but don't tell you about the other buttons that need to be pushed/used...2nd...you had to body slam yourself to get the door open. The carpet and floor are so warped the door wouldn't open or close without a body slam..the door wouldn't lock . The 4 batteries in the door fell out when you either open or closed the door..3rd..it was very damp in the room..4th..no hot/cold symbols on the water handles..it took awhile to figure out...

"Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again."
