"Very impressive grounds and gardens"

"This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast hotel with comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and tasty beer! Staff is helpful and friendly. We participated in a fun quiz night on Wednesday evening. Also had a great meal for a small family gathering in the restaurant. We highly recommend this hotel."

"Clean room, freindly reception staff, hardworking friendly bar and restaurant staff. We ate dinner outside from the bar menu, the food was AMAZING, hats off to the chef. Nice cold drinks for a very hot bank holiday, dig deep though if you fancy a cocktail- around £15 per drink which we feel is a little pricey. "Wow! What a lovely experience! We enjoyed every minute at this hotel. When our plans changed and I spoke to the staff, they accommodated our needs graciously. We will return to this hotel chain in every location. Our next stay will be in Belgium. Looking forward to it."

"The Mill Hotel is in an excellent position, overlooking the mill pond and adjoining common. There is ample parking nearby and it is just a short walk into the lovely town of Sudbury. There is an attractive restaurant and bar, with feature water wheel, and the food was good. The rooms were well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Due to the historic age of the hotel, there's no lift, which would have caused me problems if my room had been on an upper floor."

"Wonderful stay, the shepherds hut was lovely and had everything you needed. Staff were lovely and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed our night away and will return in the autumn for a longer stay. Thank you"

"It wasn’t made clear when I booked that there was a wedding on. So none of the amenities were available. Literally just the room. No air-conditioning. No coffee available downstairs in the morning either about 10.30am?? Don’t recommend."

"The breakfast was very nice but what let this place down was. the following. The continental breakfast wasn't included! Room was very clean. The bathroom was up two steps, which felt weird and the shower area had black mould on a couple of tiles. The floor was extremely uneven, it made us feel like we were on a ship that was listing! The bed was so hard, it felt like we were sleeping on a board. There was a hole in the floorboards covered up with carpet."
