"Over all our stay at Amalia place was great. Amalia was very helpful in regards to any information we needed about the area. Adding kettle in to the room could be extra plus specially after long walk and dreaming about good coffee. "

When it was suddenly hailing at the end of March and we didn’t dare to take our car to a restaurant we had a reservation for, they immediately offered to drive us there and back, together with two other guests. We had a great time! The room was really nice and we enjoyed the nice view from our balcony. Parking is easy, even with a larger car. Breakfast was the best we had during our whole Italy trip....

"Luca is a gem and a credit to this “ hotel”. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this accommodation did not have a traditional front desk. There was no reason for concern as Luca communicated with me well in advance of my arrival to ensure I was well informed about checking in, how to get to the room from the ferry etc. he personally met us and showed us our room and how to operate everything. What was invaluable were the tips he gave us in taking the ferries and buses. We took advantage of both and...

"Front desk was aloof. Key entry was tricky and cumbersome. Breakfast was delivered to room at 8am…. too late and crowded thus. Views lovely. Overall an 8.5"
