"Low quality hotel with unfriendly and unhelpful front staff. However, the house keeping lady was great. Room was appalling and in need of renovation, especially the dated flooring (complete opposite of images on Expedia). Toilet and shower were grimy, extremely narrow, and lacked any hot water in the morning. Reception area was inadequate and didn't provide any seating area. In all, this hotel is very old and in need of a makeover. "

"I had a very bad experience staying at this hotel in Florence and I strongly do NOT recommend it. The room had a horrible sewer smell that made it almost unbearable to stay inside. We were forced to keep the windows open the entire time just to breathe, but it was extremely windy and cold, especially at night. There was no heating at all, so we were freezing and very uncomfortable during our stay. The service was just as bad. The owner told us to call or text him if we needed anything, but...
