"This hotel was great. While it is under construction, and you can see work progressing in parts of the hotel, our room, as well as the lobby and amenities we used were clean and well taken care of. The policies at this hotel are great. They actually seem to care that their guests are taken care of. For instance, there laundry machines were complimentary, and you didn't have to pay $5 to wash a load of clothes. Such an amazing concept! Checkout was 12, instead of 10, like at many other...

"Room was clean and staff was friendly. The main issue is the location: it’s quite close to downtown Colorado Springs (10-mins walk), but the surroundings are very sus… lots of weird people walking around. I felt completely fine, but my 18-yo daughter didn’t feel very safe."

"This hotel was the most run down ghetto hotel. The bedding on the bed contained so many cigarette burn stains. The rooms were missing tvs and refrigerators. They pictures what they show and what you actually walk into is deceiving. Definitely false advertisement.Do not recommend I do not recommend I do not recommend. The amount they were charging for this room per night.It should have been -0.00 her night and I still will not stay there.If it was free, do not recommend."

"Our host, Brandon, was friendly and helpful. He noted that because we booked through Expedia, he did not receive our personal information in order to contact us, so he was glad to have caught us upon arrival. The Indian Paintbrush room was lovely. Beds were comfy, hot tub was relaxing, small bathroom but large shower area. The breakfast was yummy! The B&B is steps away from the main drag of Old Colorado City, so there is a lot of shopping and restaurants nearby. We would definitely recommend...

"I was there by myself. I needed a place to stay I felt safe. While this is an older motel it was clean. I did find a couple bugs inside. PLUS, you could see through the bottom of the entry door Nice shower. Bed was squeaky and not the best mattress. But owner was super nice. I would stay there again."
