Although we can ride a bit, they can cater for all levels and seeing the scenery from horseback was wonderful. Nestled in the Atlas foothills, this market town comes alive on Tuesdays when Berber traders fill the souk with handcrafted goods and local produce. Hike scenic mountain trails nearby or join cooking classes where local families teach traditional tagine recipes using herbs from their gardens.

Hiking in the lower altitudes of the Atlas Mountains is gorgeous. Zipping through almost ten Berber villages in a few hours, you truly are able to see how the local people live in each of their villages. Chickens are running around, kids playing football, and the women are socialising amongst themselves. It's always comforting to know that there are still parts of the world that do not require much technology to maintain healthy social relationships between people.
