"My Victoria Motel room was booked two days before Saturday June 13, 2026 graduation day at UC Santa Barbara - it was cost prohibitive to stay at the downtown lodgings in Santa Barbara over ~$900/night Better price in Ventura! Worth the drive and freeway close so it was easy access after a long day for travel and graduation celebration - Victoria rooms are older and the beds and linen are clean/no bugs sighted- We were only staying one night so it was greatly appreciated that room was under...

"Pros We stayed in the room for 2 nights and came away with a great impression! The room and bathroom both had a fresh, recently renovated feel. On our second day, housekeeping even came by to make up the bed and refresh the towels. Fairly spacious, with a fridge and microwave included. Cons At one point we took the last spot in the parking lot, and another car arrived after us — not sure where they ended up parking... The soundproofing leaves something to be desired."

"Parking was $45, insane. Location on the beach. Our room had an outdoor patio facing the beach with 2 chairs and a table. I would have loved 2 lounging chairs. Overall a good getaway from LA."

"Really homey feel to the entire property. Everyone was very helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable and it was very close to the downtown area which made other activities very convenient."

"The room smelled and was musty. The carpets were dirty and could use cleaning. The hotel was not quiet and you could hear traffic outside. The train passes by and blows the horn all night long. To top it off, there was a roach that I had to kill crawling on the wall."

"We stayed here for a night. It was nice and quiet. The pool was nice for the kids and it was right on the beach. The front staff were less than helpful, however , the cleaning staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms were nice with a balcony overlooking the water. There was several restaurants within walking distance."

"The toilet got plugged and they had us go get a plunger and there was no late checkout or a $40 fee would be applied."

"This place is priced cheap its located 15-20 min walk to beach has parking for semi truck thats gated and let me check in at noon. Will definitely stay again"

"Stay was good, it was safe and quiet even though we were very close to the freeway, staff was friendly and helpful. We had to bring our little dog and there was a little dog park which was nice. Room was clean and comfortable for our 2 day stay. Location was great, just a few minute drive for food and grocery stores. Everything you could need in the area"
