"The lady at check out does have a chip on her shoulder. She did give me a room that had a working tv due to the one I was assigned not working. The room was very old and tattered offering the bare minimum. I didn’t spend very much time in the room due to it being depressing. Went out and explored what Ventura had to offer on a Monday, came back and slept for the night, on top of my sleeping bag. Heard the bed bugs were bad. If you want a budget place to sleep near downtown it could be good. But...

"Would stay here again. What the property lacks in amenities, it makes up in charm and very quiet. Great location to Main Street and less than a 15 minute walk to the beach. "

"Neil was wonderful at check in. Area around the motel was quiet. Room was clean and very nicely updated. BEDS are EXCELLENT. Loved the microwave and empty space we could use in the mini-fridge; SO glad it was not loaded with expensive snacks that we would not eat. Instead, I got to load it with my fave beverages. Oddly, the only clothes rack were over the microwave, making it difficult for a short person to hang and retrieve clothing. Also, the walls were plain next to the sink where...
