"We stayed 2 nights and our room was comfy, clean and well set up. Even blackout curtains for sleep-ins. Bonus! We came for a hockey game and Roger’s Arena was only a 5 min walk on indoor above ground Pedway. So easy. Also, a 3 min walk in the othe direction to Irish bar that serves food until midnight. *****pool!"

"I have been taking my winter staycation in Fairmont Macdonald for over 8 years now. Out of the 8 years, I have spent 5 years staying on Fairmont Gold floor. I have gotten to know quite a number of the staff up there. They go out of their way to make me feel at home. This year, there is a noticable change in the staff on the Gold Floor. I am getting to know new faces. Again, a totally enjoyable and very restful stay at a beautiful hotel. I will be back next year. "

"We were in town for a concert so we especially loved the close proximity to Roger’s Place. It was about an 20 min walk or 5 min cab ride to the event center. Our rooms were spotless, the bed was so comfortable and staff members were extremely welcoming and helpful. Great quality and value for a high end property. Highly recommend, can’t wait to stay here again. "

"Decent and comfortable, but nothing too fancy. Great for travellers on a budget. There was a stained towel during my stay that should have been discarded from their supply. The guy working the front desk at night is a bit condascending. "

"We wanted to say how lovely our stay was. The hotel was clean, the king bed was perfect, and the breakfast was above average and very tasty. Also, we were happy to find some extra sugar for our coffee at the stand in the lobby. The hotel was well lit and the staff was really friendly. It was our first visit and we will certainly be returning in the future! We rate the hotel at 5/5!! Have a great day!!"
