The rooms are quiet without street noise and the staff were very helpful in organizing offsite, secure parking for our rental car.The room was missing a few amenities like a safe (there were instructions to use one), a few additional toiletries like body wash and conditioner, and an iron. Definitely add this one to your list of places to stay. "

"It is a beautiful property recently renovated. Very comfortable bed with fine linen and fancy large bathroom. Large breakfast with mamy choices. Has nice roof terrace with comfortable sofas and see view. Good elevators. Convenient location on the east wall close to the bus stop connecting with the bus terminal (#106). We hope to come back."

"We were encouraged by a tour guide to book a multi-star resort hotel in the Center of Siracusa. But, our research persuaded us that a boutique hotel on the Island of Ortigia was more in line with our standards and preferences. The Algila Ortigia Charme Hotel both met and exceeded our expectations. Everything, including the Center of Siracusa was within walking distance. The morning breakfast was convenient and ample. The building is walking distance to the sites in Syracuse and Otiga Room clean, air-conditioning works great,our Balcony had a view of the sea, and the small breakfast delivered to the room was perfect to start your day. "The owner Gaitano, made our stay in his B&B very pleasant. He greeted us warmly on our arrival. We communicated via WhatsApp regarding arrival time and parking and that all went smoothly. "Valentina was so very lovely and helpful. She was very informative as well. The property is very beautiful and a great location. My only criticism is the sound the doors make when you unlock the room door. It’s a very load electronic buzzing sound. Late at night you can hear other people coming in late because of it. The room we were upgraded to was very beautiful and much appreciated. The bathroom walls and ceiling looked like they were just patched up but not painted. The rooftop is beautiful...
