A very nice and quiet place, the rooms and general areas are clean, there is a living room, dining room and kitchen if you bring things to prepare food, parking inside and outside the place in a safe area. The stay was very good

The property is so lovely, colonial architecture, safe and quiet, everything is close, bus stop, telares comercial center, gas station, and Antigua by bus is around 10 min by bus and 30 min walking, the place have kitchen so you can cook if you want and they’ve two parking spaces… recommended

Just a bit nervous with contactless check in. Everything else is beyond my expectation. The room is super big and beautiful for us. Love the balcony, the kitchen and the garden. Very clean. It is 23 mins walk from Antigua, but that is what I want. This area really convenient to walk around for restaurants, coffee, gas station, supermarket....Definitely recommended to everyone.

This message is for the owner of this property. While this house is beautiful and cleanly kept, the person in charge of bookings and customer service is the reason why I rated them with 1 star. They truly deserve 0 stars. They do not care about making guests check-in process smooth nor pleasant. They don't answer phone calls and they leave guests waiting outside the property for hours as a result of their lack of communication. They overbooked the room that I paid for and when I challenged them, they admitted their mistake but chose not to fix the problem. There's no good water pressure in room 102. Your property is too beautiful to be left in the hands of incapable, uncaring, and mediocre management. I will NOT book a stay here ever again and I will make sure that my friends and family know how poorly this property is run.

The location is terrible; all the attractions are far away. Expedia or the owner are lying because the location description says that Central Park is a 3-minute walk away, and that's a lie. I don't recommend this place. I requested a refund because I didn't need the room, and besides, I booked it within 24 hours and there was no way to cancel it.

Property looks and it is nice, staff friendly and good people. Only thing was at the time of our stay there was a construction on next door property and the knocking and banging in the walls was all day from sunrises till sundown, aside from that it was a great place

Beds are very nice and had one of our best showers yet! Hotel was accommodating. It’s very secure, located just a short walk outside of city centre (which we loved as it was quite). Communal kitchen and relaxing space.

Beautiful, convenient and quiet. There is plenty of parking, which is hard to get in Antigua. It is not your typical hotel. It is more like a gorgeous large house with separate individual rooms. You do self-checkin

One of the rooms was very small compared to the other. My toilet was broken. It would not stop running after flushing unless you reached into the back tank to fix the flap every time. Asked to have it fixed on day one. Not fix on our 4 nights here.

Our stay at Casona del Conquistador was horrible. We were assigned Room 5202, which turned out to be severely infested with cockroaches. They were in the bathroom, on the curtains, inside the bed, and even in made their way into our personal belongings. The level of filth and neglect we encountered was shocking and completely unacceptable for this hotel. We reported the issue immediately and provided video evidence. At first, the hotel acknowledged the problem and said they would follow up, but we never heard back again. Despite multiple attempts to reach them over the following months, there was no response or resolution offered. We didn’t spend time in the hotel until the last night and that is when we noticed the infestation around us. We spent the final night in the room discovering roaches crawling through our clothes, our belongings, and even hiding in a passport holder by the time we reached the airport. We were forced to disinfect everything and dispose of several items after the trip. It was a disgusting and unhygienic experience that should never happen.

Wasted potential. Stay away!!!

The house has a lot of potential and unique aspects that could have made a very comfortable and pleasing stay. The rooms were nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. However, whoever runs the place is doing a terrible job (we were told ownership just recently changed). First off we were given the wrong code for the electronic lock on the front door to enter the house. Luckily other guests who were staying there happened to come by and let us in. They said they also had the wrong code when they arrived and had to wait for a cleaning lady. There was no staff present at the hotel, despite the listing saying “24/7 reception”. We then tried to log onto the wifi in order to communicate with the host and the wifi password that was posted was wrong. When we booked, it also said there was supposed to be breakfast included and there wasn’t. Then to top it off, the electronic lock ran low on batteries and locked everyone out the next day. All the guests including a couple who had just arrived from a long flight were stuck on the street outside with no way to get in. We had to call multiple times and we’re always told “10min and someone will be there to help”. It was probably 2 and ½ hrs before anybody showed up. And they actually had no way of getting in themselves! So it took an unconventional way before everything was fixed. It would seem the owners take zero effort to manage this hotel and thinks it will just run itself. A lot of wasted potential.
