Authentic colonial hotel, comfortable large rooms with balconies to view the amazing volcanoes. The staff really accommodating and friendly. Great location.

Mal hotel no regreso nunca mas

El servicio pésimo la situación del parqueo no la tienen bien organizada en el hotel ya que tienen varios parqueos a disposición, llegue a el hotel a las 22:00 horas y en recepción me mandaron a un parqueo y cuando llegamos estaba cerrado, luego ni ellos sabían a qué otro parqueo poder guardar el vehículo hasta molestos estaban ya!!! Uno de huésped lo que quiere es descansar no andar con ese tipo de incomodidades. Si tienen Vehiculos mejor busquen un hotel que tenga parqueo propio y se evitan este tipo de inconvenientes ya que el precio de este hotel no lo amerita, por el precio de de este encuentra uno mejores y con mejores servicios y mejores atenciones.

disapointing! can not trust the reservation

Service very friendly. No coffee in room. Did not get the room I reserved. Got a room with no balcony or view and was stuffy. Can not trust that they will give you the room you sererve and pay for. I reserved a room with a balcony facing the street and got oneI could not open the one window because could be seen from front desk.

The architecture is just breathtaking, you feel as if you were living in a palace in the XVI century (which actually is). The building was built for the daughter of Don Pedro de Alvarado, Guatemala’s conquistador and founder of Antigua Guatemala. As such, there might be a couple of amenities in modern hotels that this one is lacking, but overall this is an experience to be lived. Since the balconies face a busy, central street, the doors seal completely and it might get too hot or too cold at night. But the beds and pillows are uber comfortable. Bathroom is small with more than enough towels and toiletries and good water pressure. The staff is very accommodating and nice. They do have a topnotch bar and the Moscow Mules should be tried. They don’t have their own parking lot, so if you’re driving it might be a bit of a hassle to find a parking lot close by, I’d advice to coordinate in advance with the hotel. Make sure to take pictures of the garden as well. Beautiful!

La casa es preciosa. El patio lo tienen muy bien arreglado; es un pequeño oasis dentro de la ciudad. El personal es muy amable. Lo único que no me gustó mucho es que el restaurante estaba un poco desangelado por las noches, por lo que no se nos antojó cenar ahí. Pero encuentras muchas opciones en Antigua. Y el tour que nos consiguieron para el Lago Atitlán no fue lo que esperábamos. De lo demás excelente.

Me volvería a hospedar allí.

Excelente hotel, muy buena localización, la comida excelente, este hotel sobresale por su elegancia. La parte mala es que reserve la master suite y ya la tenían ocupada. Mala comunicacion con la aplicación pero lo supieron compensar. No tiene parqueo, por 150 quetzales el valet parking se encarga.

X mas vacation

Amazing place and the hotel to visit. We loved it so much and plan to go back next year. One minor thing is that the room is not equipped with a coffee maker nor a refreezerator.
