"An interesting resort in a some what isolated location on a long stretch of sand beach.. We stayed in a beach front bungalow which was only metres from the swishing water.. Bungalow had a little patio with deck chairs and a small table and chairs surrounded by a green hedge and covered by trees.. A nice place to lie or sit chill and look out across the incredible ocean views.. The resort is in a very quiet area with not too much to do but swim explore the coastline visit some local food stalls and relax by the pool or beach.. No proper convenience stores near by so would recommend you bring some supplies like alcohol, snacks, sun lotion etc.. We brought very little with us but after speaking to staff they arranged for us to be driven into the closet city which was about a 20 minute drive where there was a 7Eleven, Big C, Pharmacy and street market.. Buffet breakfast was provided daily and was very good with a variety of Thai dishes, salads, toast, jams bacon, eggs and more.. On site restaurant had mostly Thai dishes but also some pasta and meat dishes some of which were quite good.. Plenty of drinking water was provided in the room daily as well as some snacks and sodas all complimentary.. We very much enjoyed our relaxed 5 day stay"
"this place is a little tired and i think needs a bit of a re-boot. There were great elements and the set up is peaceful and the breakfast was very nice, but the real let down was that the whole place is like the marie-celeste in the evenings. there is no life. no hub. no bar and 2 restaurants but both on the same menu so in fact, only 1! we dont want partys and seek out places that are quieter but this was way too quiet. there was a musical duo which seemed to play most evenings but they were not good, oddly placed in relation to the diners and often playing to 4 or 6 people which makes everybody a little uncomfortable. "
"I truly cannot fault this beautiful location, accommodation, & family run business, with fantastic attention to every detail. The pool is set among the most beautiful gardens, & is truly inviting. The whole experience here has made our stay here fabulous on the very best side of this island. Food, company, help & advice, nearby cafe of quality, & whole vibe of this place should cost a lot more. We give every good wish for continued good business to the lovely couple who own & run it. Gold stars all round are really well deserved for this small fabulous place of real quality. A unique experience. You shouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. I highly recommend it, & I am sorry to have to leave. "
