"Great resort"

"Breakfast was ok the fruits were fresh but the gallo pinto to dry. The rooms are big but outdated. No air conditioning. The surrounds are beautiful. If you don’t need air conditioned you will be fine. The bed is not comfortable neither the pillows. "

"Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. "

"We could not be happier with our stay at the tree houses! We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was incredible. Coffee delivered every morning to our balcony so we could watch and listen to the animals, a great breakfast prepared every morning, and a night hike that we really enjoyed. The staff was incredibly helpful in booking excursions which were so fun. We took a day trip with Juan Carlos and saw so many things in a day that would have taken us 3 days otherwise. We 100% recommend to stay here. "

"Don't hesitate,this place is amazing. We stayed in the 3 bed/3bath villa with a private pool. The pool was heated and so warm that we stayed in it for hours. The sunset view can't be beat better than any ocean view we've had. There were many different birds all day long. The beds were comfortable and there was so much room. "Parking in the street is sketchy. I would highly recommend knowing how to speak Spanish if you are staying here. Not a lot of surrounding restaurants. Staff are very helpful, AC works well, pool is great, community hotel vibe with updated rooms. Power went out twice, but they had a company fixing it there immediately. Hotel parking is tricky-but eventually worked out. Go early for breakfast-avoid the rush. "

"Nice hotel for La Fortuna area. Less rustic than the other options but you still had the jungle flavor. The swim up bar in the pool was nice as well as the secluded hot tub area. The TV reception in our room was fuzzy. Otherwise pretty good. Breakfast that was included was pretty decent as well, omelettes made to order etc "

"Excellent resort situated in an incredible rainforest setting. We are a family of four (kids aged 6 and 8) and everything about our stay at The Lost Iguana was better than expected. The resort is close to all the key attractions in the area, yet tucked away in a tranquil rainforest. We saw countless birds and heard howler monkeys right off our balcony.
