"Beautiful property and great location"

"The check in was fast, efficient and welcoming. The staff was kind and friendly. The hotel location was away from the train station but was in an older neighborhood with lots of dining, small bars and shopping. The neighborhood was quaint, had a river walk and fun and beautiful to walk around. The room was amazing with a beautiful view of Kyoto and was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was half order and half buffet. The choices were eggs Benedict and French toast. Both were amazingly...

"Absolutely 5 star standard"

"３回目の利用でした。 いつも気持ちよく利用させてもらってます。 西院という立地で駐車場も安価で安心して利用できます。 併設のジムの大浴場も毎回利用させてもらいました。 また利用したいと思います。"

"The nicest hotel I've ever stayed at."

"Excelente Hotel"

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - it was very authentic Japanese style of beds on the floor which we found surprisingly comfortable. The only glitch, which I feel compelled to mention, is the 'smoking' area that is right at the entrance by the main door of the hotel. As soon as you enter the small corridor to walk towards Reception, the smell hits you! Other than that, the hotel was good, rooms were spacious and there were nice amenities supplied. Staff only had limited English, so...

"The hotel is comfortable and pleasant. It is a 7 minute walk from the Kyoto station. When we arrived, the reception clerk was adamant that the 3-bed room we had booked was too small for 3 people and that we should absolutely pay for an upgrade to a slightly bigger room. Indeed, the room wasn't super spacious but it was OK. It was very strange however to arrive at a hotel and to be told that they sold us a room that couldn't accomodate as many people as advertised. The receptionnist was a bit too...

"Super convenient location with fantastic amenities, and a very spacious room that makes you feel warm and fuzzy. There are lovely lounge areas to rest as well! Staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable."

"Good size room for Japan and the staff were super friendly and helpful."

"良き　外国人向き"

"とてもゆったりとした時間が過ごせました。予約したプランよりランクアップした部屋を用意してもらいありがとうございました。家族皆、満足しております。朝食のブッフェもどれも美味しかったです。ホテル内も客室からロビーやトイレまで清掃が行き届いていました。スタッフの対応も丁寧で良かったです。また利用したいと思います。"

"The beds were super comfy (the most comfortable of our whole Japan trip) and having the onsen to soak in after a long day of walking was a huge bonus! Laundry facilities were great and easy to use! The location is only a subway stop away from Kyoto station so it’s super convenient!"

"Expensive breakfast and not worth the price- only negative. Hotel is within a cab ride of all attractions or a 20 minute walk. Staff are very friendly and hotel is clean and rooms are beautiful."

"Hotel was beautifully decorated and rooms were spacious- especially having spent previous nights in smaller rooms elsewhere. The hotel is a bit further from train stations but hotel has a shuttle available every hour that made it very easy to go back and forth. Would def stay again."
