"Based on all the reviews. We were not disappointed at all. The rooms were updated and very clean. The only thing would be a nice coffee station at the front desk for the morning coffee we had to run to Starbucks every morning. All in all it was a very pleasant stay."

"This hotel was just recently renovated. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Staff are all nice and welcoming. Shops are located nearby for your essentials. It is a short drive to downtown Anchorage were most of the restaurants and shops are located. They also offer snacks and fruits in the lobby for the guests. We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Stayed for one night to explore Downtown Anchorage. We liked the location as we were able to walk to the eateries and bike rentals we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly upon check-in and check-out. The only downsides were our room smelled of cigarettes, one of the bed sheets were dirty, the refrigerator hadn’t been cleaned, the curtains weren’t blackout curtains as expected (just regular gray curtains). For a one night stay, we managed, but these cleanliness issues would make us hesitant...

"The hotel is dealing with some facelift work on the exterior. What I found, though, the hotel is a little bit further of a walk from the restaurants and downtown area than I expected. What I thought was a park to go run in was a cemetery. I would recommend finding a hotel further west than this one. The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly."
