"This was a lovely and modernized hotel with surprisingly spacious rooms. It is about a $16 dollar Uber/Taxi ride (in 2026) to downtown or about a 45 min walk to downtown. Near the park and the Szechini Baths (about 15 mins walk) and close to stores, train stations, and amenities. Staff are friendly and front desk staff speak solid English. Each room is air conditioned and has its own mini-fridge. The only minor complaint I would have is that the fridges do not get very cool but I am aware...

"The reason I booked the hotel was for the New York Cafe and the breakfast the next day at the Cafe as well. Since you get to sit in the White Room and you get better views and pictures. The staff at the restaurant was superb and friendly, but not so much when you check in at the front desk. "We selected this hotel based on the spa amenity, as we had an overnight flight to get to Budapest. The spa is beautiful and helped refresh us before we started our vacation.
