The downside is there are no coffee or tea making facilities in the rooms. No real drinking glasses, just plastic ones in plastic bags. Kind of expected better at this price point."

"The room was really clean and as described. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed and that was not mentioned on the site. I learned about it the day before my arrival. Fortunately, the host had good restaurant suggestions. The hotel advertise a pool and a jacuzzi, they have both but the pool was VERY cold (normal in April) and the jacuzzi was not inviting (bee nest, Luke warm, in the shade...). "I don't think I have enough good things to say about the experience here at Podere Montale Il Borgo. The rooms are very nice, water pressure and temperature at the showers is amazing as well... bed is comfortable... but above all.... the scenery and the Estate is breathtaking. From the arrival you can tell how much work has been done for the guests to feel welcome, and how intentional have all design decisions been. The people we interacted with were amazing and super accommodating as well, the sommelier recommended some wine —pretty good wine too!— and the rest of the staff made our stay perfect. I'd L O V E to be back, 10000%"
