"We were really disappointed with our stay. Staff were very unhelpful. Hallways not clean. Given a room with a view of garbage cans and gas tanks. Another guest arrived on a red eye at 10 am and was told her room would not be ready until 2pm! Far from airport. Very limited ameneties, not even conditioner or enough towels. Will not stay here again "

"Hotel El Guarco rooms were very clean & comfortable. Staff were very helpful & kind. The linens & towels were so white & had a lovely clean fragrance. The incuded breakfasts wre truly amazing & presentation was impeccable! We could walk to numerous other retaurants or fast food establishments for dinner meals. "I chose this place because the reviews were exceptionally good. I arrived and noticed there are no space to park on the street. You will have to move the car to the sidewalk. This is a large house that was converted to hostel. Average decorations with books and stuff are just placed at random place. Two people opened my room door and didn’t apologize. Toilet didn’t flush. "Rented Delux room with A/C. Bed mattress was almost rock hard and made sleeping uncomfortable, Shower control handles were difficult to operate and water pressure and hot water changed constantly during shower time. We were not able to stay for free breakfast, but coffee was available:wrapped muffin was soft and and almost tasteless. "
