"Plenty of parking, easy to check in and very courteous staff."

"We found the Tap House to be a disappointing stay, full of contradictions. The checkin was easy and the staff friendly. We stayed in a two bedroom unit, which has a sitting area and kitchen. The room was nice but tired with dirty doors and some broken/missing fixtures (door return hanging off, cable trunking missing capping). "Lovely place and rooms were great. Some of staff didn’t know how to check us in It’s a pub, and luckily we had booked for food… the pub was very food dominated and wouldn’t have felt comfortable just drinking… food was good and place lovely though"

"Good, comfortable room. Excellent freshly made breakfast Lovely, friendly and helpful staff The restaurant side of the business has closed, but there are a couple of pubs in walking distance."

"great location, characterful old property"

"Great stay in a great location."

"This Hotel is great, however room dependent is beginning to look her age. Personally I love revisiting. Great bar, rooms are comfortable. Grounds are good for a walk and it's proximity to MB means it's a great choice."

"Great location with plenty of parking and EV chargers which was very handy for us. Check in was handled efficiently with polite staff. Room was fine, some questionable carpet stains but generally clean and comfortable. A good hotel for a stopover in the area."

"This was the ideal stopover, we found the reception, public areas and our room clean and well cared for. All the staff we met, from the moment we arrived till the moment we left friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and found the choice, presentation and taste really good."

"Good size room, clean and comfortable. Really helpful staff."
