" We had a wonderful two night stay at Sheriff Lodge, we couldn’t fault it one bit. We stayed in The Dray which was a lovely bright, spacious and tastefully decorated room with a huge comfortable bed. The bathroom also was very spacious. It was a pleasure to meet Ziz, she was a very friendly and knowledgable host and cooked a tasty, plentiful breakfast. I particularly loved the homemade Granola which was delicious. "We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....
