"Man this place was cool, staff was awesome too, great view definitely a little hike up a hill but it’s not far from the station and the surrounding area is so beautiful it didn’t even matter, super close to that waterfall walkway thing which is awesome, it’s just a great area loved it, and the bathtub was awesome, I definitely wore my kimono wrong but the staff was so nice reguardless made me feel very nice. and the japanese experience is REAL here aswell"

"This was a unique experience. The 2 indoor and 1 outdoor onsen were very relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The traditional Japanese food was beautifully presented and tasty. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional. About 25 minutes walk from Gora station if you are dragging heavy cases up the hill! Otherwise about 15 minutes. "

"The staff were exceptional! Professional and had paid attention to detail. Onsen was such an experience!! Very clean facilities, amenities were amazing, well kept hotel despite its history. Definitely avail for the free shuttle bus from Odawara station in Hakone to your hotel and back but make sure you do a reservation for this especially if you are traveling with luggage. "Amazing ryoken in Gora. Close to Gora station for access to the Cable Car to the Hakone Ropeway. 15 minute walk to the Hakone Open Air museum and steps from Gora Park. "The outdoor public onsen was great and very relaxing! That combined with the traditional room and dinner was a very cool experience. The staff were friendly and polite as well and were helpful in explaining the correct rules for wearing the yukata and using the onsen. Overall, a great stay."
