"I told the hotel in advance I was vegetarian and I was incredibly well accommodated. The meals were vegetarian, well presented, diverse and delicious. Lots of new Japanese food experiences. The rooms are large and relatively clean, the futon beds weren’t very comfortable (but no futons really are) and the staff were all exceptionally helpful."

"Amazing ryoken in Gora. Close to Gora station for access to the Cable Car to the Hakone Ropeway. 15 minute walk to the Hakone Open Air museum and steps from Gora Park. "The outdoor public onsen was great and very relaxing! That combined with the traditional room and dinner was a very cool experience. The staff were friendly and polite as well and were helpful in explaining the correct rules for wearing the yukata and using the onsen. Overall, a great stay."
