"A little disappointed with our stay, the staff were lovely we went to the lakeside grill after booking a table, for a buffet it was expensive and the food was subpar and not as advertised on the video signs. As the weather wasn’t favourable we decided to leave early and didn’t even stay for breakfast. There is a lot of potential for improvement it needs reinvestment and an update it’s in a wonderful place but needs to match that with amenities."
"Unfortunately due to weather Mt Fuji view wasn’t there from the room. There is an issue with mosquitoes in the room despite insect repellent and the room had a distinct moist smell. The outdoor onsen is good. There isn’t any rule observations for onsen though as I have witnessed foreigners with large uncovered multiple tattoos entering the onsen without showering or covering the tattoos.
