"The place was amazing and clean. The private onsen in the room was an added bonus. Will stay again if I’m ever in the area.
If you’re looking for night life, this isn’t the place as it’s remote and everything is closed by 18:00. "

"The room was ok... not incredibly spacious. Our room was also overlooking the parking lot and a construction zone, so that was strange. We really couldn't keep the blinds open. The room was advertised having an onsen, and really it was just a deep bath. For $800+ a night, we were expecting more.
No coffee in the lobby in the morning (except if you were having the $40 breakfast). The people working there weren't as friendly and accommodating as we found throughout the rest of Japan. The bar...

"We stayed in a couple of Ryokans and this was the best. The room set up was fantastic - loads of space, warm and cosy. The staff very friendly and helpful and the dinner and breakfasts were like a work of art. We loved it. "
