"Breakfast was good up until seeing the eggs. I understand that it makes sense to cook eggs they way in hotels. But, try to make it less watery next time. Drain out the egg pan more often. There was no signs of what the muffins was either. Waffle mix was too runny. Staff was very friendly"

"The ceiling and walls had water damage and was coming down. The pool was out of commission most of the time. The whole place was infested with ants. woke up with ants in the bed. "

"The room and the cleanliness were great. The person who was supposed to cook the hot portion of breakfast didn’t show and the staff disappeared so they didn’t even explain what had happened. I would use this hotel chain again. It seems all businesses are plagued by poor employees now"

"Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Pool area was clean. Pool was a little chilly but it felt good after being in the heat all day. This will be our go to stay in Ankeny from now on! Loved our view of the pond and watching the geese from our room and the patio out back. "

"Upon check-in, I discovered human waste in the toilet of my first assigned room, #311. When I reported this, the staff member on duty was visibly rude. After being moved to room #208, the same individual became argumentative regarding the room type and ultimately slammed the door on me. Due to the significant health concerns, I felt unsafe and checked out immediately."
