"Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. On arrival we were met by Molly who showed us to our room. We stayed on a bank holiday weekend and the bar area was very busy, great outdoor area with Mexican bar. We booked the double superior room (room 1) which has plenty of space. Huge four poster bed. Large en-suite with large shower. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities provided in room. TV, Hair dryer, ironing board, fan also in the room.The only issue that maybe a problem is the room windows do back onto the beer garden but this didn't bother us at all. Prices at the bar were very reasonable. Didn't have food so can't comment on that. Check out was 11am so not to early and its just putting room key into the box before leaving (so easy)."

"The restraunt in this hotel was not great Both my grandchildren have food allergies we struggled to fund something on the what so very little menu. Then to be told the food could have crosd contamination from the fryer."

"I booked a Club Room and was very disappointed at how dated and dingy the room was. Room smelled mouldy, woodwork chipped, ironing board burnt, shower curtain black with dirt at the hem, toilet bowl stained with limescale. No electricity sockets by bed. Definitely not good value for money."

"Rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Beds are very comfy. Only problem was how loud the room doors slam, very annoying for getting a good sleep and can be quite loud if your room is facing onto the car park as the bar area gets busy and a lot of people stand outside to smoke etc quite late at night. Other than that, great place to stay with great amenities"

"Great room,clean, comfortable and perfect for our one night stay. Great bath and shower with plenty of hot water. Enjoyed a lovely carvery meal in the evening but skipped breakfast as we had a long drive. Food menu very comprehensive and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff."
