"This is an excellent place to stay right on the water. Lovely staff who was very helpful and kind. Beds were comfy and room was spacious. Ability to monitor your own heat and the windows do open. Continental breakfast with various pasties, muffins, bagels and bread. Also yoghurt and various condiments and protein bars. I would highly recommend."

"We had booked in to the Baddeck Domes for our stay but they were not finished being built. This was very disappointing for us. The owner made it right by giving us a full refund for the Domes. We then stayed in the Baddeck motel. The room was tiny, there was mold on the curtains, but the beds were clean and comfortable enough. It looks like they may be doing some renovations on the motel. The staff was the best part of the stay. "

"Beautiful location, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms. Highly recommend. Despite my stay being during the off season, they made sure I was taken care of with dinner and breakfast on my overnight stay. Great location to rest after travel and exploring the nearby Cape Spear/Mistaken Point Ecological Reserve. I like that each suite is named after a location along the Irish loop and the photography hung throughout the hotel is really nice to appreciate the landscapes in the area. I...

"What a hidden gem !!! This property is filled with surprises. We enjoyed sitting in the front living room after dinner in town. We had a glass of wine listening to Cat Stevens on the record player then snuck an ice cream sandwich from the freezer upstairs. Our room was stunning and filled with interesting details such as power set up for all our electronics, sound machine for sleep, comfortable bed, hot shower.
