"Excellent hotel. Only disappointing thing was not being able to have a drink with a group of five people in the rooftop bar. They were plenty of tables for four and we were told we could only have a drink inside."

"Convenient to shops, food, and activities. We parked in a parking garage close to the hotel, but after checking in, we found that there was another garage that gave discounts to the guests. It was not mentioned before our visit, so it was a hassle. Our Expedia reservation wasn't showing when we arrived, so that was also a hassle. After some time, everything worked out, and we were free to explore the beautiful city. It is a gorgeous, well-cared-for old building with a cool layout and decor....

"Jorge was so welcoming. He was always available to offer a suggestion or direction The facility was VERY nicely appointed from the towels and sheets to the tissues. Every light was spot lighting a beautiful object in the room. The ligjts would come on magically as you entered and turned off just as effortlessly. The common area on the second floor was a wonderful addition and allowed for an open space to enjoy wine and a snack. "

Liked having the snack room and seating area since we used a couple times. Having two windows with great black out shades was wonderful! Very quiet! Only thing I would have liked was a good area for sitting along with a table/desk. My room did not have."

"Es un hotel lindo, muy cerca de los atractivos, muy cerca de Mirabel y un poco más retirado que el casco antiguo y demás atractivos pero está cerca para ir caminando e inclusive puedes irte viendo el lago, no hace falta tomar transporte a la central de trenes porque también es cerca aproximadamente 12 min y al centro unos 15 min. lo único es que el personal del hotel está solo de 9 a 19 hrs, no están las 24 hrs"

"Located very close to the main train station so you can easily roll your luggage to/from. The city is generally very walkable with a lot of nice cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The property is a solid 20 minute walk from the old town, although a lot of buses can take you there and these run frequently from the main station."

"This is such a charming and quiet place to stay in Salzburg for adults! We stayed for 3 nights and our room was very comfortable and roomy. The staff helped with restaurant suggestions, directions and more. There was a beautiful breakfast that cost extra. The hotel is convenient to sightseeing and in walking distance to some store, restaurants and historic locations. It is located on a side street making it quieter than most. We definitely recommend The Bergland Hotel!"
